It’s a very beneficial vitamin any your skin care routine. It’s an antioxidant which is anti-inflammatory nutrient & considerably improves skin tone and texture, hydrate the skin, and reduce signs of aging. It can be used in face cleansers, oils, serums, moisturizers and sunscreen.

Also known as Abscorbic acid, a water-soluble nutrient it not only brightens your complexion but also protect against skin damage caused by sun exposure and harmful free radicals.

Vitamin C diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by producing collagen and makes skin youthful and plump. It constantly repairs damaged skin and helps in preventing premature aging. Its powerful antioxidants prove boon for our skin care regime. It stimulates and aids collagen production.

However, the stability of this compound, the pH range over which it works, skins own pH, coupled with the fact that it is water soluble and can be washed off with water makes the use of this vitamin for its perceived benefits in any skin care range, quite tricky and difficult.

Alas, many products claim the presence of vitamin C in the formulation but fail to deliver any benefits.

Thus the choice of the right vitamin c compound in the formulation makes all the difference in the effectiveness of any skin care product.
